As you read in the "My Story" column, I was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma Cancer on July 4, 2019, that was followed by a Rotation Plasty Amputation surgery on September 19, 2019. My life changed forever when I got my leg amputated and I want to share with the world what it is like to be an amputee. Every day I will experience advantages, disadvantages, and different reactions from society and I want to be real and raw with what I experience. I will be starting rehab with my prosthetic leg soon and I also want to express my emotional and physical experience with learning how to walk again after not being able to for eight long months.
